I GOT IT!!!

Yippee for me! Hooray!

Just got the call today. I am going to be a bank branch manager. The small bank that hired me is opening a new branch sometime in January or February. I have been picked to head up that lobby. Gotta go through some training at the home office, but that should fly by in no time.

Now, if I can just get them to nail down a start date, I will be much happier.

Oh darn! I have to miss the pheasant trip to South Dakota, too. I really and truly was looking forward to going, but am just as happy to miss this year's trip for obvious reasons. Not to worry, Dad is going to invite a close family friend in my place and I'm sure he'll have a blast.
